Brittany + Cameron // Bella Vista Groves

First, let’s thank all of our First Responders, especially this Groom, Cameron who is a firefighter for LAFD! Right after their wedding he was out there protecting us from the terrible Woosley Fire.

Brittany is so full of life, her smile and laughter can fill your heart in a second. She is a bright beam of light in anyone’s life. I remember meeting with her at Starbucks one day and a police officer came in and she quickly jumped up and paid for his coffee and then came right back to wedding planning. That’s the kind of person she is, putting others first, helping, caring and so compassionate.

Cameron and I actually went to high school together and had some mutual friends. Somehow this former water polo playing young boy I remembered from high school turned into a country cowboy man! These two truly compliment each other in all the right ways. Seeing them on their wedding day and hearing and seeing all the raw emotions during their ceremony and vows was the reason why I love my job.

When meeting with the couple, they had ideas, visions and colors in mind but were completely open and trusting, to have me help them create their perfect day. I learned pretty early on that Cameron was into leather work and had created Brittany a beautiful work folder that was all handmade and stamped with lots of love and details. I really encouraged (and pushed) Cameron to make their guest book and custom luggage tags for their seating “cards.” They were incredible!! We also tied Brittany’s bouquet with some of Cameron’s leather.

This couple and wedding was definitely one of my highlights for 2018 and I’m so grateful that both Brittany and Cameron chose us to help make their wedding day perfect!
